Haidar Ali is Vice President – People Happiness & Innovation at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority brings with him extensive experience in Human Resources, Strategy, Excellence, Innovation, Happiness and Projects Management. Earlier he worked as General Manager HR and Quality at Dubai World Trade Centre. Haidar holds Masters’ in Strategic Human Resource from University of Wollongong and Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Higher Colleges of Technology. He also graduated from Leaders Program in Dubai Silicon Oasis, a program aims to develop high level of leadership competencies. Haidar holds a certificate from Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and was the first Emirati to obtain the Psychometric License from UK. He is also a certified innovation associate from the Global Innovation Management Institute. During his career, Haidar introduced many new projects and initiatives as he launched the “Happiest People” initiative in Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, a complete scientific program aims to achieve corporate happiness. He also introduced Mindspark System, an innovative system for smart brainstorming. Furthermore; he launched and managed innovation labs, the business excellence award “Tamayozi”, leadership development scheme “Mustaqbali” and a complete orientation program “Bidayati”.
