Situational Judgement Tests (SJTs) assess a candidate’s ability to choose the most appropriate action in workplace situations. These assessments are designed to assess how a candidate would handle situations that they could encounter in the job they are applying for. SJTs are best used early on in the selection process to filter out unsuitable candidates and to reduce the applicant pool. This session will be exploring a case study of a world leading healthcare and pharmacy retailer who used a bespoke SJT to reduce their sales assistant candidate pool and to engage candidates by giving them a realistic job preview.
